How’s life? Let’s have a chat.

Hey, it’s been a little while, let’s have a chat. Around four weeks to be exact. Life has felt crazy busy and not really busy at the same time. Anyone ever felt like that? I took a break from my blog without really meaning to. I have been feeling quite uninspired lately, and so the thought of sitting down to write something wasn’t really on my mind. So, this blog will likely be a very chatty blog of general life and how I’m feeling. Let’s have a chat!

Sometimes life just feels like a blur

Up until this week actually (7th June – 11th June) I’ve been feeling super happy. The sunshine has made an appearance and I’m loving the lighter evenings. I’ve had a few busy weekends of seeing family and friends which has been lovely since it’s been a long ol’ year or so in constant lockdowns. I guess you could say ‘real’ life has got in the way a little of my blog, but I’m okay with that. It’s been so good being able to see people.

The downside to everything at the moment is how ridiculously busy I am at work. Hence why I’m not feeling so great this week. I’m feeling mentally exhausted, so I am SO glad it’s now Friday night and the weekend is upon us. I’m going to relax so much this weekend, and I’m ready for it.

I’m also feeling a bit uninspired with life lately! I think I’ve got to the point where I need to really work hard and start some new beginnings. As the saying goes, life is short and I want to live it to the fullest and happiest I can.

How’s the last month been for you?

I miss blogging a lot

I know I haven’t been away from it that long, but I really do miss it. Blogging for me will always be a reminder of how I felt when I was struggling with my mental health, to how much blogging helped me to get through it. Back on April 1st 2018 I spoke out about my struggles and posted a post about it.

One of the main reasons I started to talk about mental health on my blog was because I didn’t want others to go through what I did. I wanted to help others, because I felt absolutely awful and it’s heart breaking that so many people are out there struggling. Another reason was how therapeutic I found writing. As I mentioned just above, this blog helped me a lot. It gave me a purpose and a blank canvas to splash my thoughts onto.

I have been away from my blog but I have been working on other things. One of the biggest things I have bought back is my YouTube channel. The channel was officially started over a year ago now, but I think I only managed to do four videos and then I kind of gave up. However, I’ve recently got back into it again.

Although it’s nothing related to my blog. Some where down the line I may do some videos that go alongside my blog, but for now I’m just focusing on gaming. I have most definitely mentioned this in previous posts before, but I like to play games in my spare time. There are also lots of other gaming YouTube creators that I love to watch too. At the moment I’ve only released some horror game content. So if you are a fan of the horror genre, then you can check those out.

Keep your eyes peeled though, I’ll be playing some different games in the future too. Also what is with that saying, ‘keep your eyes peeled.’ Sounds horrific doesn’t it?

Short but sweet

This is only going to be a small post as I don’t want to bore you with every single detail. I’m looking forward to getting stuck into the blog again, and also seeing how the blogging community is doing! I’ve missed reading some of my favourite blogger’s posts so I can’t wait to catch up on a few.

  1. Life goes by so fast, in the blink of an eye. You turn around and it is another new month. Life gets busy and sometimes you are stressed and sometimes you are not.
